Day 296: Accept each other

Today as I was browsing Facebook a status from a friend popped up in my feed. I always read her statuses because she has some compelling stories to share.

This status wasn't just a story of another person/people that she had a tendency to talk about. It was about her and she decided to "come out" in it.

I was surprised but incredibly delighted that she felt in today's society it would be more a accepting....and that she felt safe enough to share.

I let her know it didn't change my opinion or her. In fact, I had a whole new respect and admiration for her.

Be who you are and don't ever doubt or apologize for it. Always <3
